Gifts were given to all the women present and several won gifts during the program.  Three women won a free Christian Cruise to the Bahamas in March 2010 called “Sailabration Bible Cruise." 

The SBC MWL program was called:  Quiet Influence:  The Romans 12:1 Woman  - “Present yourselves a living sacrifice, which is your spiritual worship…….”

Welcome and Opening Prayer was by Mary Mohler, Vice President of the luncheon.

SBC, MWL, Jeopardy was led by Diane Strack, President of the SBC, MWL.

A special Endowment Trust Fund Presentation was given by Nancy Sullivan.

Nominating Committee Report for 2011 was given by Janice Thomas.

2010 Preview was given by Rhonda Kelly and the Willie Turner Dawson Award was given presented by Peggy Lindsay Hyatt.

The Willie Turner Dawson Award was presented at this time to a minister’s wife who made a distinct denominational contribution.

Special Music was beautifully done by Heather Payne, former member of “Point of Grace” singing group for ten years before retiring last year to give her heart to motherhood and support her husband in his teaching ministry at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Diane Strack, wife of Dr. Jay Strack, founder of the Student Leadership University, an international leadership and worldview training program for students,  interviewed pastor’s wives who shared from their heart the good and the bad of being in the ministry with words of love and encouragement.  Those who shared were:

Debbie Brunson, pastor’s wife of Mac Brunson, First Baptist of Jacksonville, Florida.

Jeanne Floyd, wife of Ronnie Floyd, Springdale, Arkansas who minister through two vibrant locations.

Donna Gaines, wife of Dr. Steve Gaines, minister in Memphis, TN at the Bellevue Baptist Church.

Susie Hawkins, wife of Dr. O.S. Hawkins from Dallas, TX.
