Christian Web News - With the help of some 350 local churches over 30,000 people attended Franklin Graham’s first festival in the eastern European country of Estonia last weekend.
People from neighboring the countries the neighboring countries of Latvia and Finland came by bus to the capital city of Tallinn to hear Franklin Graham’s message at the three day Festival of Hope. Michael W. Smith preformed at the event along with popular musicians from Estonia, Finland, Belarus, and Ukraine. International Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse , which Graham heads in addition to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association , distributed gift-filled Christmas shoe boxes to poor children in Estonia. Estonia was the second stop on Graham’s 2009 crusade schedule, which stated in march in the South American country of Uruguay.
