This has yet to take effect. The rapture will have taken place, the antichrist killed and indwelled by Satan himself and he will have claimed to be GOD. Then he will establish a mark to show loyalty to him and him alone. Without this, well you know what that means. A company called Verichip has already started injecting Alzheimer’s patients and pets with the chips that store all medical history as well as a GPS so they can keep up with the patients and pets. Also something called RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) cards are starting to come about. Now this is not the mark of the beast but it is the precursor to it and the system that the antichrist will institute. This is like the beta version that everybody gets to try before the actual version is accepted and is considered a comfortable concept, for most people any way. I myself work in the transportation industry, and at the end of last year we where told by the federal government that we are now required to have a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) or we well not be able to work. Do I have one? Yes because the rapture has not happened as of yet. It is very comparable to a driver’s license. Our government is also trying to get the Real ID act passed. This will require all to have a federal id card versus just having a driver’s license. Starting in early 2008 all new passports began to have RFID chips inserted in them.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
What will happen to those people who are introduced to the Mark and reject it? Revelation 20:4 says that they will be beheaded.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
The beast will demand worship to him and his image and you must have his mark of “loyalty” to buy, sell, and receive medical help and above all, just to simply keep breathing. Revelation 14:9-11 shows us what will happen if we take the mark just to save our lives for a time. “We shall drink of the Wrath of God” and this means that our destiny is the lake of fire and brimstone forever, because once you take it you can not change your mind. However, if we choose NOT the mark then we shall loose our life by the sacrificing our head to the beast who will require it due to not taking his mark of loyalty. The Bible teaches us in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. With that in mind we need to remember that we cannot yield to the demands of the beast. We have the promise that if the rest of our life lines up with truth, and we fall victim to the beast, we will instantly be with Jesus. This will be the fulfillment of what Jesus said in John 12:25 which says, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Here in Revelation 2:10, Jesus is sending a letter to the church in Smyrna, but it correlates with John 12:25. If you are faithful unto death to Jesus and never deny who or what he is not matter what they do to you or your family, you will be give the Crown of Life AKA Crown of Martyrdom and you will be know by all that you proclaimed Jesus unto the end and offered yourself as a martyr for the witness of Christ. We do not belong to this world we are only strangers passing through. We have to separate ourselves from what this world considers “normal” and stand solid on the principals that Jesus set forth in his Word. We have to remember the plan of salvation in Acts 2:38-39 and continue to seek Gods’ will in our lives so that we will be spared the coming atrocities that is being put in motion. We want to be gone from here in the twinkling of an eye versus being here to endure the horrors’ that are to come.
