According to the scriptures, if you do miss the rapture, God forbid, that does not mean that you have a ticket to sin because you are going to hell anyway. The scriptures tell us that we have a second chance to repent of our sins and live with God in glory.

Rev 14:9-10 says… IF any man worship the beast and his image and receive his mark the same shall drink of God's wrath…. We read in Isa.65:20-25, about the 1000 year reign of Christ that will come to pass in Rev. 20:4.

Theses verses in Isaiah say… that at a hundred years you will be considered a child and an old man shall fill his days... To be considered a child at 100 yrs old, how old is it to be an old man? Is it like in the days of Adam?  

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8  And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Who will be the nations that Satan will go out and deceive? The nations will be a confederation of those that repopulate the earth during the 1000 year reign. These are the ones that Satan will be able to influence and deceive after he is released. There are going to be survivors of the tribulation because only flesh and blood, not spirit, can give rise to “the number of whom is as the sand of the sea” that Satan is going to use.  

There will be many generations during this time, but in the later generations all the wonders that their grandfathers and great grandfathers told them about will not mean the same to them and they will doubt that any of it really happened because they did not witness it personally. They, their children, their children’s children, and so on will be the nations that Satan will raise up to battle against Christ one last time. You can not live on your fathers and grandfather’s blessings and relationship with Christ. You have to form your own and know it to be TRUTH for yourself.   

Isa 65:20  There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isa 65:21  And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.  

The only way to be saved now and during the tribulation is to follow the plan of salvation as outlined in Acts 2:3-4  Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.   and in Acts 2:38-39  Act 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act 2:39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.    

Will there be ones that follow this plan and still miss the rapture?

The answer is YES. Because they did not keep the faith and finish the race they will be left behind.

Will they realize what has happened?

The answer to that is also YES. There will be many people that have been filled with the Holy Ghost that will be left here, but I promise you that they will not let their second chance slip by. They may have not been sold out to God the first time but rest assured that they will be this time because they know what is to come. 

There are going to be many questions asked. Who will have the answers? Those who were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and had the knowledge of truth but were not ready in that “twinkling of an eye”, thus being left behind,  will have the answers and will lead one of the biggest revivals in the history of the world.
