This will happen after the Rapture but God is giving us a small glimpse now of what these scriptures will be like. In this first verse we are getting a look at the Antichrist. It says that he comes with a bow and a white horse which means he is impersonating God. He comes with no arrows, which means that he will not come to power by might but by diplomacy. He is going to be given a crown, not like a kings crown, this crown is going to be the title as the president or ruler of the world. He is going to conquer and come to power easier than any other ruler in history. He will be a great speaker, Good-looking, wealthy. He will be loved by the majority of the people that are left after the rapture.

The only ones that will realize what is happening or has happened, and who he really is, will be the Christians that did not make the Rapture but will come to God for repentance and the ones that come to believe in him after. He will be very reluctant to take power but take the power he does. He will be the only one that will be able to bring a temporary peace to the conflict in the Middle East through negations with Palestinians and Jews.  

The second horse is the red horse and is easy to explain. This rider will take the peace from the earth. The peace that is being referred to here is the peace that only God can give. With all the wars and skirmishes that we are seeing now across the world while we still have God’s peace with us, can you possibly imagine what it will be like in that day when it is no longer here?  

The third horse is the black horse which will have power over food prices and availability. I am sure you have been shopping in the last six months for groceries and other items. How much more do those same things cost now as opposed to one year ago?  Everything is so much more expensive now and it is not going to get any better. Prices might drop a little bit but its only going to get worse from here on out. How much of a strain has our current economic crisis put on your bank account? Imagine what its going to be like after the Rapture and all the ones that used to farm, package and anything else that had to do with getting food to the stores are no longer here. 

The fourth horse is the pale horse. This one is going to be the result of the second and third horses because it says that he will have power over a fourth part of the earth to kill with sword, hunger and beasts of the earth. This will happen because the peace of God will have been taken from the earth and the price of food will be so high that the poor will not be able to afford to eat and will have to resort to stealing it and this will result in violence. Also people will be hoarding food to save themselves and of course they will fight to keep it.  A good example of this was the war in Mogadishu in 1993.  The Warlord Aidid was stealing all the food that the UN brought in and was killing all those who tried to get it.  The animals will no longer have anyone to take care of them and so they will revert back to being wild and have to fend for themselves in the midst of the chaos.  We will be attacked by packs of wild dogs along with other animals that are able to hunt and kill humans.  Think if you will about the famine that is happening in Africa; picture that on a world wide scale. 

Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him  had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Rev 6:3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. Rev 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Rev 6:5  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.  Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
