A Fox News poll reveals most Americans say "Merry Christmas." The poll taken December 9-10 shows 77% of Americans prefer "Merry Christmas" as opposed to saying something with less meaning.

The poll found that larger numbers of Republicans (87%) say "Merry Christmas", but Christmas numbers were lower with Democrats at 72%.

"I feel better when someone greets me in a store with 'Merry Christmas' because Christmas is about the birth of our Savior Jesus", says Steve Krotoski who leads Pray Daily America, a ministry that prays for America daily at www.PrayDailyAmerica.com.
Steve adds, "Without Jesus, people have no hope and are dead in sin. Jesus is God's only Begotten Son who laid down His life for us, so that if we believe on Jesus we are forgiven for our sin and accepted before God. The true meaning of Christmas is important."

Many have stopped doing business with companies who are "scrooge-like" and only want to make money on Christmas but don't acknowledge Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, these companies are likely to offend the large majority of Americans as 85% of Americans say they are Christians. After all, what day does America and the world open presents on? Christmas!

America's Christian founding shows American government supports public display of faith in Jesus Christ. For example, Delaware's Constitution of 1776 required government officials to declare: "I do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ His only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God, blessed for evermore; and I do acknowledge the holy scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by divine inspiration."

Also, President Ulysses Grant made Christmas a Federal holiday in 1870. And, America celebrates with a national Christmas tree.

It is time to make a resolution to boldly say "Merry Christmas" and see how many people smile back with the same reply. And because of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins, we always have hope, love and life. Merry Christmas!

Living A Christ Life

Redeemed From The Curse Pt. 1
Redeemed from the Curse Pt. 1
Christian Web News - Galatians 3:13-14.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree''), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Something to Think About: Sin
Something to Think About: Sin
Christian Web News - Often when we talk about sin, we use lots of examples such as abortion, homosexuality, murder, substance abuse - I could go on and on. However, I want to direct this little three letter word to the Christian who is serving God and can tell a sinner all about his or her sin. We use to call it “pointing the finger”  at someone who does so many bad things.
