Who Would Susan B. Anthony Vote for?
The day after GOP Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin's address at the Republican National Convention, Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented on Minneapolis' historic connection to women's leadership:

"The Susan B. Anthony List is eager to have a visible presence at this year's Republican National Convention," said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. "The last GOP convention held in Minneapolis in 1892 was historic for women - the first female delegates were seated, and Susan B. Anthony herself attended. This year's election carries historic implications of its own, this time with the first ever female pro-life vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin."

The Republican National Convention of 1892 was the first convention of its kind to seat women delegates. Susan B. Anthony led a suffrage rally, which was attended by friend and fellow abolitionist Frederick Douglass. The convention was also the first to be addressed by a woman, J. Ellen Foster, chairman of the Women's Republican Association of the United States. Foster promoted plans for women's involvement in national politics, and told the delegates, "We are here to help you, and we are here to stay."

"From Susan B. Anthony on, strong pro-life women's leadership has positively impacted the Republican Party. Authentic women's rights will never be built upon the broken rights of other human beings. Both parties would do well to observe, embrace, and benefit from the strong and documented pro-life trend in America. Would Susan B. Anthony vote for Senators McCain or Obama? Given her consistent and unyielding commitment to human rights including the right to life, I'd say she'd vote McCain."

In addition to extensive fundraising for pro-life candidates, the Susan B. Anthony List will implement "When Women Vote, Pro-Life Candidates Win!" -- a sophisticated voter mobilization program that will target over one million pro-life women voters across seven battleground states. The Susan B. Anthony List plans to invest over $6 million in its 2008 election efforts.

Since its founding, the nonpartisan Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund has helped elect 75 pro-life candidates to the House, seven to the Senate, and seven to other statewide offices across the country.

I was offended by a display at the Allegheny County Community College heralding the pioneers of women's sufferage. Most were recent personalities, whom I assume are all anti-christian. I wondered if the entire collection was witches, but I am uncertain of Susan B. Anthony. I found your link while googling for "was susan b anthony christian". I can't find a convincing statment of faith attributed to her. This article too seems ambiguous on the question.

Living A Christ Life

Redeemed From The Curse Pt. 1
Redeemed from the Curse Pt. 1
Christian Web News - Galatians 3:13-14.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree''), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Something to Think About: Sin
Something to Think About: Sin
Christian Web News - Often when we talk about sin, we use lots of examples such as abortion, homosexuality, murder, substance abuse - I could go on and on. However, I want to direct this little three letter word to the Christian who is serving God and can tell a sinner all about his or her sin. We use to call it “pointing the finger”  at someone who does so many bad things.
