"It was a complete 180," said Reginald McKamie, who is representing flight attendant Sharon Brown in the civil suit.

McKamie told state District Judge Patricia Hancock that Shedden told him a different story of what happened on Dec. 19, 2005, and that he expected her to say Osteen was "out of control." Although he did not confront Shedden while she testified, he did request that the lawyer who helped interview her testify. His request was denied.

Contrary to earlier testimony, Shedden said Osteen pointed at Brown, but never touched her.

"I would have seen it," Shedden said.

"You can tell the jury that this never happened, can't you?" Osteen's attorney, Rusty Hardin, said.

"Yes."

Brown is accusing Osteen of attacking her as passengers were boarding at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The flight attendant's lawsuit seeks 10 percent of Victoria Osteen's net worth.

Brown alleges that Osteen grabbed her shoulders, pushed her into a restroom door and elbowed her in the chest. Osteen was trying to get flight attendants to clean up liquid on her first-class seat.

On Tuesday, Brown told jurors she had once described Osteen and her husband, evangelist Joel Osteen, as the "devil" and their church a "cult," but has since changed her opinion."I don't believe they're the devil," Brown said near the end of her testimony.

Earlier in the trial, Hardin accused a witness testifying for Brown of playing the "race card."

The only eyewitness to the alleged assault who supports Brown, flight attendant Maria Johnson, implied Osteen acted racist during the incident because Osteen sought her out that day instead of two black attendants, one of whom was Brown.
