Have you taken up your cross, to follow Jesus today? Have you lost your life for Christ today? What has priority in your life?
I pray that it's Jesus: Matt. 15:38-39 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39) He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Jesus was teaching his disciples how they were to minister, how they were to overcome devils in his name here in Matthew 10. Jesus gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (verse 1). He also said in (verse 8) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received freely give. After Jesus gave them instructions of how to use the power He gave them, He then told them to take up their cross and follow Him. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor. 15:31....I die daily. Do we even have an understanding of Paul's words? We must keep our priorities right, we must put Jesus before our needs and wants, and the needs and wants of others. If we don't make time for Him, how will we know what we are to do today? We can't live in yesterday's anointing, nor do we know what tomorrow might bring. We live in today! What are we going to do about this day? It's time to lay down our lives for Jesus, take up the cross He gave us and follow Him. He said in Matthew 21:22 All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Have you prayed today, have you ask Him to reveal His will for this day? Are you willing to take up the cross of Christ in order to win the lost? Your very special, called of God, and He desires to fellowship with you. If we're not in fellowship with Him, how can we win the lost? How can we know what He wants? How can we understand His word? I am here to tell you today, you can know His will, you can walk in His power, have authority over demonic spirits, heal the sick, cast out devils, and raise the dead in Jesus name; after you have spent time in His presence! All things are possible to them that believe. Evangelist Sally B. Tussey Marvelous Grace Ministries
