We're so busy these days. We have every modern convenience we could ask for and yet our schedules are more packed than ever.

Needless to say, making a home cooked meal is often at the bottom of our list of priorities. We sometimes ask ourselves, "Does Proverbs 31:15 include KFC buckets?" Cooking has become a lost art. The number of young women (and men) who have no idea how to cook is astounding. Gone are the days when apple pies made from scratch set in window sills to cool. I don't advocate that we go back to spending hours a day preparing meals. However, preparing a meal for your family, or even for yourself, bears a satisfaction that goes beyond the dish itself. Instead of ordering a pizza tonight, try one of these super simple chicken recipes from Kraft Food and Family Magazine. They're quick, require few ingredients, and they taste a lot better than a five dollar pizza.

Chicken in Creamy Pan Sauce

Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 30 min
Makes: 4 servings

4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.)

2 Tbsp. flour

1 Tbsp. oil

3/4 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

COAT chicken with flour. Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 5 to 6 min. on each side or until cooked through (165°F). Remove chicken from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet. Cover chicken to keep warm.

ADD broth to skillet; stir to scrape up browned bits from bottom of skillet. Add cream cheese; cook 2 to 3 min. or until cream cheese is melted and sauce starts to thicken, stirring constantly with wire whisk.

RETURN chicken to skillet; turn over to coat both sides of chicken with sauce. Cook 2 min. or until chicken is heated through. Sprinkle with parsley.

Living A Christ Life

Why Are You Fearful?

Why Are You Fearful?
Christian Web News - Jesus has a way of getting right to the point, doesn't He? There was certainly no mincing of words, He came right out and said, "why are you fearful?" and then went on to say, "O you of little faith." You don't have to read between the lines to see what He was saying, they had little faith.
