It's time we wake up church, it's time to get a prayer life, and time set aside for sweet communion   with God the Father.

The warnings are all in His word, and they are for today!

Isa. 60 Mess. bible:

"Get out of bed, Jerusalem!  Wake up.  Put your face in the sunlight.  God's bright glory has risen for you.  The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all the people sunk in deep darkness, But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you.  Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness.  Look up!  Look around!  Watch as they gather, watch as they approach you:  Your sons coming from great distances, your daughters carried by nannies.  When you see them coming you'll smile-big smiles!  Your heart will swell and, yes burst.

All those people returning by sea for the reunion, a rich harvest of exiles gathered in from the nations!

Beloved child of God, lift you head high, and know that we serve a mighty God.  Jesus is Lord, indeed, but He is our Savior and Redeemer.

Isa. 59 Mess. Bible:  'God looked and saw evil looming on the horizon-so much evil and no sign of Justice.  He couldn't believe what He saw: not a soul around to correct this awful situation.  So he did it himself, took on the work of Salvation, fueled by his own Righteousness.

He dressed in Righteousness, put it on like a suit of armor, with Salvation on his head like a helmet, Put on Judgment like an overcoat, and threw a cloak of Passion across his shoulders.  He'll make everyone pay for what they've done:  fury for his foes, just deserts for his enemies.

Even the far-off islands will get paid in full.  In the west they'll fear the name of God, For he'll arrive like a river in flood stage, whipped to a torrent by the wind of God.

I'll arrive in Zion as Redeemer, to those of Jacob who leave their sins."

God's Decree.

It's time for us to STOP messing with sin, excusing it as just a mistake, or calling it a bad habit, or a problem,  God calls it SIN.  Repent, repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!  Do all you can to get close to God's heart, and know Him.  Paul said in Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Are you pressing in today, there are great things waiting for you.  Jesus loves you and wants to talk with you.

There is so much encouragement in this message! I have found that when I have to run out the door before the crack of dawn and can't spend my first hour awake with my Lord...my day does not go as well: negative people I come across manage to have negative effects on me, my mind races with "details" of the day, mistakes get made and people that probably needed a positive word from me didn't get it, and opportunities to witness get lost. But when I spend that first precious hour talking with my Saviour, and reading His Word.....(sigh) I can only smile at the possibilities that lie ahead! Th

Living A Christ Life

Why Are You Fearful?

Why Are You Fearful?
Christian Web News - Jesus has a way of getting right to the point, doesn't He? There was certainly no mincing of words, He came right out and said, "why are you fearful?" and then went on to say, "O you of little faith." You don't have to read between the lines to see what He was saying, they had little faith.

Redeemed From The Curse Pt. 1
Redeemed from the Curse Pt. 1
Christian Web News - Galatians 3:13-14.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree''), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
