1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (KJV)
How important this verse is for every life that God has created, we read this and think of how we are to carefully watch out for our salvation, and even our lives.So we have ourselves covered, but now it is time to look at our children. Do we have them covered? Stand back and look at the situation, there is so much disrespect and turmoil coming from our children in this day and time. Are we asleep? Do we not notice the world around us? Romans 13:11 tells us that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, it goes on to say in verse 14 make no provision for the flesh. There was a time that children were raised with Godly teaching, if the parents knew anything it was to teach the word of God to their children, because of the value it taught them. Respect was a big issue, you were taught to respect yourself and everyone around you if you felt like it or not. I believe time is running out and we need to take back our children, teaching them the value of life, how to respect themselves and everyone around them. It’s time to show the devil he can’t have our children, and we are taking control. It’s time to repent as a nation for the way we have allowed our children to be raised Where do you think abortion, rape, abuse, homosexual acts, and all the evil things that are very common in this day and time come from? I can promise you one thing, they didn’t come from someone who was taught to respect themselves and others. It didn’t come from someone who was taught, and raised with Godly love. As a mother, I urge you to remember your children as you search the word of God. Allow the scriptures to be planted in love to your children, and you will see great harvest. God bless you all.
