Senator Barack Obama's campaign team is scrambling to do damage control in the wake of the national story two weeks ago when the world's leading Internet evangelist Bill Keller of Liveprayer, questioned in a widely distributed Op-ed article, YouTube video, and Daily Devotional to his 2.4 million subscribers whether Senator Obama was really a Christian.

New York GovernorA spokesperson for the Governor of New York has announced that same-sex marriages performed elsewhere will be recognized in New York in response to a New York state court ruling this year. The decision, Martinez v. County of Monroe, involved the case of a woman whose employer declined to offer benefits to her female partner even though she had been married abroad.

Senator Reid Breaks Promise to American People
The American people have repeatedly pleaded with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) to stop partisan politics and move along on President Bush's judicial nominees. But apparently the people's outcry has fallen on deaf ears, again. Sen. Reid has "officially" broken a promise he made to the American people back on April 15th to confirm at least three judicial nominees by the Memorial Day recess.
