All of the ridiculous speculations in this article have been addressed by responsible investigators. I will offer just one example related to the assertion that "Negro" was the proper description of the father's race rather than "African." For the purposes of the Hawaii birth certificate parents' race is self reported and accepted if deemed reasonable. It was considered entirely reasonable that an African would not report himself as "Negro" which is after all a description coined by European colonialists.
